1. Introduction
At Junk Gents, we provide quality rubbish removal, junk removal, furniture removal, spa removal and tip run services across the Gold Coast. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms set out how we operate, what you can expect from us, and what we require from you as our customer.
2. Our Services
Our core services include:
Rubbish Removal
Junk Removal
Furniture Removal
Spa Removal
We also cover tip runs, green waste, de-cluttering, tradie leftovers (including plaster and broken drywall), and the removal of household items such as fridges, ovens, microwaves, and couches.
We are fully licensed and insured to provide these services.
3. Quotes and Pricing
Junk Gents provides free upfront quotes with no hidden fees or surprise tip charges.
To provide an accurate quote, we require clear photos and descriptions of the items to be removed.
Quotes are based on the information you provide. If additional work is required (e.g., large volumes, restricted access, additional items not mentioned at the time of quoting), extra charges may apply.
4. Access and Stairs
Customers must notify us of any stairs, limited access areas, or unusual conditions before the booking is confirmed.
Failure to disclose these details may result in additional fees added to your final invoice to cover the extra labour required.
5. Booking and Payment
Bookings can be made online, by phone, or via email.
Payment is required upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept cash, EFT and credit card.
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
6. Responsible Disposal
At Junk Gents, we take pride in being eco-friendly, sustainable, and ethical in our waste management practices.
We recycle and dispose of all junk responsibly across approved Gold Coast facilities.
Different types of waste are directed to the correct recycling or disposal sites.
Customers must inform us if items contain mould, hazardous materials, or insects (e.g., bed bugs). This ensures our team can arrive prepared with the correct protective gear.
7. Items We Do Not Remove
For safety and compliance reasons, we cannot remove:
Hazardous chemicals or asbestos
Explosives or flammable substances
Medical waste or biological material
If unsure about an item, please ask before booking.
8. Liability
Junk Gents takes care when removing and disposing of items; however, we are not responsible for any pre-existing damage to property, flooring, or structures.
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access for our team.
We are insured for liability relating to the services we provide.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a call-out fee.
10. Customer Responsibilities
By booking our services, you agree to:
Provide accurate information about the items to be removed
Notify us of access restrictions, stairs, or unusual conditions
Ensure our team has safe access to your property
Pay all fees and charges associated with the service in full
