What happens if I cancel or reschedule?
You can cancel or reschedule any time more than 24 hours before your appointed time. If cancellation happens within 24 hours, only 50% of the payment is refunded. Our team will contact you and send confirmation of any refund via email.

We accept multiple payment methods — cash on site, invoicing, or card via Square. Payment is normally due upon completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Do I need to be home when you arrive?
It depends. If the items are inside your property, someone needs to be present to grant access. But for curbside pickups, you don’t have to be there — just place the items in a visible, accessible pile. We won’t refund for items we couldn’t find or access. Please ensure if you are planning on having your rubbish picked up without you being there, all the selected items are clearly visible and in a pile for collection! We will not refund for items you did not leave in an accessible area.

All of our team members pass a physical strength test before joining Junk Gents. We train them in proper lifting technique, safe handling, and ergonomics. That ensures your goods are handled with care and reduces risk to property or people.
